Annual gifts (online or by check) allows Journey Home to meet our operating budget on an annual basis. Your gift goes to work immediately to make a difference. HONOR & MEMORIAL GIFTS
Honor and memorial gifts are a thoughtful and caring way to honor or remember your loved one and at the same time, help others. Recipients or their family members will be notified of your generosity with a special card. Click here to donate now!
Many corporations will match an employee’s gift to charitable organizations. In addition, some provide donations to the organization where their employees volunteer. Please contact your human resource department for more information and forms.
The Home Team Heroes are a community of givers committed to preventing homelessness and providing housing stability through a recurring gift/monthly subscription. Every dollar of your donation is used to sustain our programs that are leading the effort to end homelessness in the capital region.
Monthly Giving is not just about making a donation, it’s about making an even greater difference. Your support helps sustain programs like A Hand Up. A Hand Up works to support those who are currently transitioning from homelessness to housing by connecting them to donations of household goods and furniture.
Clients are often moving into housing after experiencing homelessness with nothing but what they can carry on their back. Here’s how your generosity makes an impact:
$15 per month
Purchases a brand new pillow for one of the 30 families we serve each month through A Hand Up.
$30 per month
Purchases a brand new mattress cover for one of the 30 families we serve each month through A Hand Up.
$60 per month
Covers an apartment application fee for one of our clients.
$100 per month
Purchases a small kitchen appliance, such as a microwave, for one of our clients.
Journey Home receives United Way Community Campaign funding through the Community Investment choice. When you choose Community Investment you are supporting organizations like ours. You can also choose to support Journey Home through the United Way Community Campaign.
